Be Ready Kids (Department of Homeland Security)​​

Be Ready Kids has clickable links that send students to articles about different types of disasters. Students will learn about weather patterns as well as how to be safe during a natural disaster.

This is a great website for students learning about different types of energy. While interacting with this website, children will gain practice reading informational text in the form of timelines, charts, and graphs.

Ducksters is a simple website with  great information particularly useful in social studies and science classes. Duckster helps students learn to research through its simple design and wealth of information.
